The
hour of temptation: Mark of the beast
CHAPTER NINE
I will be speaking to you tonight about
the great temptation that will come upon all the world to try them, but then
the Lord promised that, “I would keep thee in that hour of temptation which
shall come upon the whole world to try them”, and I really believe that we are
living in that season, living in that time. So we will turn over to the book of
Revelation, if we stand I will read.
Revelation
2:9 <I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich and I
know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the
synagogue of Satan.>
They don’t belong to the synagogue
of Satan but they are the synagogue of
Satan. A synagogue means an assembly, it means a church; therefore Satan
has a church.
Revelation
3:9-10 <Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they
are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship
before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the
word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which
shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.>
Romans
2:28-29 <For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that
circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one
inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the
letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.>
May the Lord add the blessing to the
reading of His Holy Word; you may be seated. So we would speak tonight on the
subject of ‘The Hour of Temptation, Mark of the Beast.’ We sang a wonderful
song tonight, “People Needs the Lord.” And in the light of modern events I
believe that we could never over-sing that song. If ever people needed the
Lord, they need the Lord right today. We are heading to a climax. We have heard
through many years about the end of the world, and it has been so long that
people mock and scoff. And the bible prophesied that there will be mockers and
scoffers in the last day, and they will say, “Where is the promise of His
coming? For all things continue as they are since the fathers fell asleep.” But
the coming of the Lord is sure and it is going to happen just the way that the
Lord prophesied in the scripture.
Heading
for a climax
Malachi 4:1-2,5 <For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an
oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and
the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall
leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the
Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings…
Behold, I will send you Elijah the
prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.>
We believe that the world is heading to
a great climax. And if you are a Christian you cannot help but yearn within and
feel for the souls of humanity
knowing that they are like the people of Nineveh that do not know their left
hand from their right hand and they are all heading to this climax. But I
believe that the Lord in his love, his mercy and his grace, he is going to
reach some. But many people are heading to destruction because we are living in
the proudest generation that ever lived upon the face of the earth because it
is the most knowledgeable generation, scientific knowledge and scientific
achievements, this is that generation that we are living in. “Knowledge puffeth up, but charity
edifieth.” And if people ever needed the Lord, they need the Lord today.
This should really provoke every Christian in the spirit to pray and to beg God
to save his people from their sins, your unsaved loved ones, your neighbours,
your friends, your brothers and sisters, knowing that they are like the people
of Nineveh. The Lord looked down and truly it was a sinful nation and as far as
Jonah was concerned they were supposed to die within forty days. But then the
Lord spake to Jonah, he said these people do not know their left hand from
their right hand and I love them as you love that tree, that gourd, a giant
oversized mushroom, and that came up in one night and you are angry to death
because a worm ate it down, how much more should the Lord love the people of
Nineveh? And I believe that the Lord
love the people of the world and he is not willing that any should perish
but that all should come to repentance. But it is a fearful thing to fall into
the hands of the living God. After mercy is offered to you and you turn that
mercy down there is nothing left but judgment. It is written in Acts 2:38, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in
the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.”
Great temptation tries all the
world
And we are headed to that climax, but before that great climax that
Christians look for and the rest of the people that lived even in the Old
Testament, there is something to happen upon the face of the earth. There are
one or two prophecies to be fulfilled, and this is one of them here that is to
be fulfilled in Revelation 3:9-12. And the Lord promised that he would keep his
people from the hour of temptation that will come upon the whole world to try
them. We want to consider tonight, what is this temptation? And we want to
consider how the Lord will keep us from that temptation? He promised in the
scripture, that he does not tempt anybody, in the book of James, but with the
temptation thereof he makes a way of escape. I believe that he is a fair God, I
believe God is a just God, I believe that God is equal in his ways. And he said
that he would not tempt us more than we can bear but with the temptation
thereof he makes a way of escape. Do you believe God? If you believe God, even
in this hour of great temptation to come upon all the world to try them, the
Lord promised to make a way of escape. So the thing here tonight is not only to
know that there is a great temptation coming upon the earth, but the thing to
know is the way that the Lord has made for your escape.
But first let us consider, what is this great temptation? If this
is such a great temptation to try all upon the face of the earth, I believe
that it should catch the interest of every human being upon the face of the
earth, and even moreso every soul under the sound of my voice, it should
attract your interest. To know what is this great temptation that is going to
come upon the earth, and that is going to be so great that it is going to try
the whole world. It is going to try China, it is going to try Africa, it is
going to try United States, it will try India, it will try Pakistan, and it
will try South America and the Caribbean, and the entire world. What is this
great temptation that is to come upon the earth? I read it in plain words here
for you and I will quote the scripture.
Revelation
13:16-18 <And he causeth all, both
small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right
hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he
that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.>
This scripture is telling me here, “and
he causeth all”, and I want to call your attention that there is a temptation
that is coming to try all that are upon the face of the earth.
<Here
is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for
it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. >
We got that last night. I believe
that the mark of the beast that is
going to be offered to the whole world, all rich, poor, free and bond, is this great temptation that is now
coming upon the face of the earth. And the temptation is going to be very
simple, it is that you got to make a decision whether you want the mark of the
beast or you would not take the mark of the beast, it’s a very simple affair.
Now the scripture verifies that if you take the mark of the beast, you will be
tormented with fire and brimstone day and night and you have no rest day nor
night, but you will be tormented in the presence of the Lamb.
Revelation 14: 9-11 <And the third angel followed them,
saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and
receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The
same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire
and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the
Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment
ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who
worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his
name.>
And right now this temptation is
about to come upon the face of the earth, the mark of the beast is about ready
to come down upon the face of the earth. And besides that, this mark of the
beast will be coming from the beast. The mark of the beast cannot come from
somewhere else, it comes from the beast.
And I don’t have the time to go through all of those scriptures in so short a
time here, but the beast that this mark is coming from is very clear, that
beast is none other than the Roman Empire. So the beast in scripture according
to Daniel 7, Revelation 13 and Revelation 17, is none other than Rome. The man
that will control the revived Roman Empire is also referred to as the beast. In
Daniel 8 he is referred to as the king of fierce countenance, and within the
seventh and eight chapter, he is referred to as the little horn.
The red
dragon – beast
Beyond a shadow of doubt the beast
himself is an empire, it is a power, and the mark is coming from those
quarters. It is coming from the revival of the Roman Empire which will bring
all religions and all nations under its jurisdiction even as they did during
the dark ages. There was one time after our Lord Jesus Christ that Rome ruled
the world, and even before, Rome ruled the world many times. But then there was
a time that Rome ruled the world by a religion, and that religion is identified
in scripture as mother whore, mother of harlots and abominations of the earth,
and in Revelation 17 she was riding the beast. “And I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of
blasphemy.” Scarlet is red and then that beast had a certain name, it
identifies what kind of beast it was, that beast was a dragon, and the dragon
is found in Revelation 12, and it is recorded there that a woman was about
ready to give birth to a child, and the dragon was about ready to devour the
child, and that child was Jesus. Rome was the one that was ready to kill our
Lord Jesus and caused him to go into Egypt by his parents. Herod gave the
decree to kill all children under two years and our Lord Jesus had to flee into
the land of Egypt. So we have no doubt who that beast is, that beast is the red dragon, and the red
dragon was trying to devour the child that was about to come forth whose name
was Jesus. But after a certain time he was caught up into heaven and he was to
rule and reign with a rod of iron. So there is no doubt whatsoever who that
dragon is and who the child was, and there is no doubt about who the woman was,
the mother was Mary. I want to remind you that the twelfth chapter also has
spiritual applications that pertain to the bride of Christ.
Religious
persecution – Satan’s church
This is coming
upon the earth. The great temptation is now ready to come down upon the face of
the earth. So let me just stay here for a minute. The great temptation involves
the beast, it involves the image of the beast and it involves the mark of the
beast. These things combined together in the last day makes up the great
temptation. A law is already passed in United Stated by Bill Clinton, and I
believe it is now ready to go into effect, although the law was passed in 1997,
and that is that all religions must come together in a federation of churches.
This body eventually must come under the jurisdiction of the pope. The bill was
passed in October 1997 and it is called Freedom from Religious Persecution. I
want to recall your attention, even though it was spoken before, that
Constantine in 325 AD claimed to be a Christian and he passed a law and that
law was also referred to as “Freedom from Religious Persecution.” Even because
the Christians were being persecuted, and then he said that he will stop the
persecution therefore that bill that was passed at the Nicene Council in 325 AD
was “Freedom from Religious Persecution.” But I have news for you, that was
only for the people that will be going into the one world church and the one
world government. Everything that failed to recognize the one world church that
was set up in that time at the Nicene Council, which was then called the
universal church, were persecuted. A holy man was crowned with the jurisdiction
over heaven, and over the earth and over purgatory, with a triple crown. Everything
that resisted that World Council of Churches back there, they were persecuted after
that. So it was not freedom from
religious persecution for the true Christians that wanted to stay with the
gospel, that still wanted to be baptized in Jesus Christ’s name according to
Acts 2:38, that still wanted to believe in one God according to St John 4:24,
and that did not want to bow down to idols according to the first commandment
of the ten commandments, these people wanted to stay true to the Word of God.
It was not freedom of religion for true Christians but their persecution
continued. They went into the mountains, the caves and the dens, and then after
that mother whore of Revelation 17 continued to martyr them throughout the dark
ages and recorded it on her own Roman martyrology, sixty-eight million martyrs put to death as heretics.
I am saying that the great
temptation that is now ready to face the world, and that will try every man
upon the face of the earth, is another one world government and a one world
church, and every man that goes into that automatically takes the mark of the beast.
Only a handful of people will come out of that in this age. Now this body that
will be formed in the end time by the beast and by the World Council of
Churches which is called the image to the beast will force people to bow down
to Rome one more time. And I want to tell you the scriptural name for such a
body in the bible. Such a body and such a religion governed by the government
of Rome is called Satan’s Synagogue. So the great temptation is very simple and
it is whether you are going to have a membership in Satan’s synagogue or you
will refuse to take a membership in Satan’s synagogue. We refuse to belong to
Satan’s synagogue, we belong to Christ. And there is only one church that was
set up, and it was set up by our Lord Jesus Christ on the Day of Pentecost. He
said, upon this rock shall I build my church and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it. And the Lord promised to keep us in this hour of temptation
that is to come upon the whole world. “Preacher, break that down just a little
for me, what did you say this great temptation is?” I am saying the great
temptation today is that you and I with all the rest of the world will have to
make a decision whether we want to belong to Rome or belong to Christ. To
belong to Rome is to belong to Satan’s synagogue. And there are many people
already upon the face of the earth that are cursed to belong to Satan’s
synagogue. For it is written in the scripture here, I will make them of the
synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews but do lie, but I will keep thee from
the hour of temptation which shall come to try all that dwell upon the face of
the earth. This is a fearful thing children, little boys, little girls,
teenagers, brothers, sisters, old men, old women, whoever you are, this is a
fearful thing to take a membership in Satan’s synagogue, bow down to Rome, and
that mark of the beast is coming from Rome.
Over that throne of Rome is recorded
VICARIUS FILII DEI, checking that out according to Roman numerals it is 666.
Right here, V is 5, I is 1, C is 100, A has no value, R has no value, I is 1, U
is 5, S has no value, F has no value, I is 1, L is 50, I is 1, I is 1, D is
500, E has no value, and I is 1. All the Roman letters do not carry a numerical
value, only certain letters. And checking that out it is exactly 666 according
to Revelation 13:18 and that is how you identify where the beast is. You
identify the beast by the inscription on his crown and over his throne VICARIUS
FILII DEI. And when that is added up it is exactly 666, nobody is going to have
666 on their forehead, nobody is going to have 666 on their hand, 666 was for
the identification of the beast. But for you to be a member of the synagogue of
Satan is the mark of the beast. For you to belong to the synagogue of Satan is
the mark of the beast.
And before you go back to Rome,
before you could go back and accept all those wicked doctrines that worship a
man and did so for almost two thousand years, you must forsake the Word of God,
and you must swallow your conscience. For you to go back and bow down to an
idol you have to swallow your conscience. And when you swallow your conscience
you have committed the sin of blasphemy. And whether you understand this or not
the mark of the beast is the sin of
blasphemy. Because you got to turn down the Word of God, turn down the
Spirit of God, turn down his servants and then go back to Rome, that’s the mark
of the beast.
God’s
way of escape
So the hour of temptation is here, Bill
Clinton passed the law already that all religions must come together and
eventually must be headed by Rome according to their teachings and according to
their understanding. And I don’t think that this is mentioning too much, but
about this same time that the hour of temptation is about to come upon the face
of the earth, God in his mercy sent forth a third angel and that is in
Revelation 14:9-11, and he said whosoever shall worship the beast and his image
and take his mark shall be tormented with fire and brimstone day and night and
they shall have no rest. So God never left his people alone, God makes a way of
escape, and the way of escape was to send a revelation in the end-time to
expose what the beast is, and what the image is, and what the mark is, that
Christians might flee for their lives. In Revelation 18:4 it is recorded, “come out of her my people”, that is
Satan’s synagogue, the great whore, “come out of her my people, be not
partakers of her sins that ye receive not of her plagues.” And that is what we have
done, we came out of everything that is headed back to Rome. We are a bunch of
people that are fleeing the mark of the beast. We do not want to bow down to
Rome. This is the way that God made for an escape, the escape is to reveal the antichrist in the end time
and to show his people where the beast is and show them what the image of the
beast is and show them what the mark is. The beast is Rome together with the
ruler, the image to the beast is the world council of churches, that is the
religious body the Protestants are now forming and they will be given power to
speak. They will tell you who is a preacher and what is a church and they will
tell you what to preach. I tell you right here that God alone must tell us what
to preach. We are going to resist the
mark of the beast, we are going to resist the beast, and we are going to
resist the image of the beast even though we must die as our forefathers. The
king of fierce countenance will soon arise and he will be Satan’s superman.
This old fellow is going to die anytime and it may be the time that this
superman comes on the scene. When he comes according to Daniel 8 he will cause
craft to prosper because the world will go into bankruptcy. He has the gold to
back up the dollar and he will cause craft to prosper. And in such a time of
peace he shall destroy wonderfully. Who is he destroying wonderfully? He is
going to destroy wonderfully everybody that withstands the World Council of
Churches. But I have news for you, just about the time that he comes down to
slaughter, the rapture is going to take place. And the people that are left
over here that is called the remnant of the woman seed, the Bible said, and the
dragon went to make war with the remnant of the woman seed, that’s the foolish
virgins.
Image
of the beast – religious power
I want to call to your attention from the
scriptures that we just read, Revelation 3:9-12, I want to call your attention
to the hour of temptation, and this hour of temptation is not a new thing.
There was an hour of temptation that took place in the early ages after our
Lord Jesus Christ and the apostles left the earth, this hour of temptation will
be greater today amongst the people of the world. That hour of temptation was when Constantine came up and he called
all religions to trash out their indifferences and to have a confederation of
churches and choose one holy man to be the head of Christianity, that was the
hour of temptation for the Christian church. About that time the beast took his
throne and about that time the mark of the beast was established. Why was it
called the hour of temptation? It was called the hour of temptation because
everybody that failed to recognize that religious machine, that failed to
recognize mother whore of Revelation 17, everybody that failed to recognize
Satan’s synagogue that was being set up in 325 AD according to history, they
were destitute for food, they took away their homes, they did not have clothes
to wear, they took away their jobs, they took away their lands, they had to be
on the run because of persecution and they started to martyr them. And they
martyred them under the name of heretics and wrote it down in their own
martyrology called the Roman Martyrology, where they put to death sixty eight
million heretics. Those that they called heretics were Christians that believed
in one God and baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and did not belong to an
organization, because Christ never built an organization, he left one church
upon the face of the earth. Those were sisters who dressed modestly, those were
sisters who allowed their hair to grow out, those were sisters who never wore
earrings and all these kinds of jewels, and never wore high heel shoes and
twist themselves, they were holy people, and they were sanctified people. And
Christians had to face the hour of temptation. It is nothing new, history
records all of this. That was an hour of temptation, that was a certain hour of
temptation.
This hour of temptation is
prophesied for our day, in the Philadelphian age, in Revelation 3, there is
going to be an hour of temptation and this hour of temptation is coming to try
the whole world, and this hour of temptation cannot be compared with that hour
of temptation in the dark ages. Why? Back in the early age they had the beast
to contend with and they had his mark to contend with. Why is it greater today?
Because another something is added, the next thing that is added is the image of the beast. You ask, what is the image of the
beast preacher? I always thought it was an idol and a great man with power was
able to give life unto the idol, maybe science will find the secret to life and
be able to make that idol speak. No, what is the beast? Is the beast Rome? Is
the beast a religious power that put sixty eight million martyrs to death? If I
make an image of a religious power would it be an idol? No, it has to be another religious power. If the beast
is Rome and it was a religious power and I make an image of the beast, it got
to be another religious power. And I tell you right here what is that religious
power, they are forming another religious machine that will commit all the
crimes that the beast committed and everything that doesn’t go into the one
world religion and the one world church will be slaughtered. You may say who
makes up this image? There were some people that got away from the beast under
the inspiration of Luther, they were called Protestants, anything that protest
the beast is going to die, they protested the mark of the beast and they got
away, for about four hundred years they got away and they was on the run. But
now these Protestants now will be forced to produce another religious machine
and where they were running from they got to go back. And that is because the economy is going to fall and it has
already begun to fall, because of the economy they are going to form this World
Council of Churches and the pope will have to back up the money by his gold.
And if he backs up the money by the gold and save the lives of all these
Protestants, they must do his wishes. According to Revelation 13 it is going to
be a religious machine that will hunt out and search out every man that don’t
recognize Rome and the beast as the leader. There is going to be another
wholesale slaughter of every man that don’t go into that World Council of
Churches and recognize Rome as the mother church. She is the mother church but
she is a whore, that is what the bible said, she was unfaithful to her marriage
vows, she broke the laws of her husband, the rule of her husband and she went
and committed fornication with the kings of the earth – fornication is her doctrine,
her wicked teachings, her bowing down to idols and praying to Mary and praying
to Patrick, it is fornication, and she has kings bowing down to Mary, and she
has emperors bowing down to Mary, breaking the first commandment of the ten
commandments.
Now it’s a greater temptation
because here you don’t have the beast running you down but you have a religious
machine called the Protestants in a World Council of Churches, they are the
ones that are really forcing this worship back to Rome. So the World Council of
Churches, the Protestants will come into it is the dangerous fellow, and if you
are a stranger here and have never heard that, that is coming from United
States. The World Council of Churches is now being formed in United States, and
that beast America is going to cause the whole world to worship the first beast
which is Rome. America is a cursed nation, the judgments of God are falling on
her right now, and she is prophesied to be burnt by fire! And Rome is
prophesied to be burnt by fire! According to Revelation 18, “For strong is the
Lord God that judgeth her, and the ten horns are ten kings, and these shall
hate the whore and burn her with fire.”
The weapon to destroy Rome is hanging on
the rack. The only weapon that could burn a city in such a way, in one hour is
the atomic weapon. She came to ashes in one hour’s time.
The great temptation. Yes, my friends.
The great temptation includes today the image of the beast, and that is
reinforcement that Satan got in order to try to put every human being into Satan’s
synagogue. Now, this temptation that comes upon the face of the earth, be it
known to every one of us, saints and sinners, brothers from the organizations,
Pentecostals, Baptist, Catholic or whoever you are, my friend, it will take
something within your soul that is genuine. It will take something down on the inside of the inside for you to withstand
the mark of the beast, for you to withstand the whole world, for you to
withstand the federation of churches. It will
take something genuine.
Stamina,
courage, sincerity - stand against 666
My advice to you, brothers and sisters,
put away all your games, put away all your guessing, make sure you understand
what is being preached, make sure you understand what is what, make sure you
understand what is going on. These kinds of churches will be closed down by the
world council of churches. They will not recognize these kinds of churches as
churches. They will not recognize these kinds of preachers as preachers.
Why are you preaching so hard on these
things for the past weeks? My beloved brothers and sisters, it is that you
might know where you are standing. Anything that is not genuine will buss up at
the great temptation. Yes. If you have a revelation that is called the
revelation, it is going to buss up at the hour of temptation. If you think you
have the genuine birth and commit adultery, and live in fornication, and
disbelieve God’s Word and pervert God’s Word, it is going to buss up at the
hour of temptation. If you claim to be a Christian and smoke cigarettes, allow
your wife to wear pants, bob her hair and rule the house, you don’t have
something genuine. At the great temptation you are going to give up the same
way.
To withstand that temptation, friend,
you got to have stamina, you got to have courage, you got to be a man, you got
to have a backbone. And it is about time that we Christians put away the
wishbone and put on a backbone. Yes sir. Yes my beloved brothers and sisters,
how many believes? [Congregation says,
“Amen!”] I believe, help thou my unbelief.
The Word is very clear here tonight; and
only unbelief can stop your ears. This is in the Bible. I have quoted more than
a dozen scriptures; and the only thing that could hinder your understanding is
unbelief.
Everything that is not genuine will fail.
You got to be genuinely born again. You got to have a genuine understanding of
the gospel. You got to have a revelation
of the Son of man. You got to have the Spirit anointing you otherwise you would
not be able to withstand the mark of the beast. Right now before the pressure
comes down we could say this and say that and boast but it takes something down
on the inside. Yes sir.
Everything that is playing around with
fornication and adultery, everything that is playing around; halfway inside and
outside and loves this world more
than they love God is going to fail in that hour.
May the Lord help us to stand. He
promised, “Because you have kept the word of my patience, I will keep thee in
the hour of temptation.” Yes sir. You got to keep the word of His patience. You
got to be baptized in Jesus Christ’s name.
He
keeps us by THE word and power of the spirit
You got to forbid a woman from preaching.
According to 1st Timothy 2, according to 1st Corinthians
14: 34, a woman is not supposed to preach. A woman is not supposed to wear a
man’s garment according to Deuteronomy 22: 5. According to 1st
Corinthians 11:15, the woman’s hair is given to her for a covering. If you are
not keeping that, children, you are not keeping the Word of His patience. You
say, “I cannot understand how the Word is going to keep me.”
Psalms
119: 9, 11 <...Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed
thereto according to thy word.
Thy
word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.>
Revelation
3: 10 <Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation...>
“The Word of my patience is to look for
another outpouring of the Holy Spirit.” Yes. Abraham staggered not at the
promise of God but he patiently waited for the promise of God. He never
staggered by unbelief but he patiently waited for the promise of God. The Word
of His patience is to wait for another outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the end
time.
I tell you right here, friends, the
measure of the Spirit that you now have in you is not able to take you through
in that hour of temptation. I am telling you the truth. And you will regret it
if you don’t believe me. My friends, the measure of the Spirit that you now
have is not able to take you through that hour of temptation. You want
something greater than that and God promised something greater than that.
I have news for you, friend, you want enough of the power of God to create
things into existence. You want enough power in that hour, when they forbid you
from buying and selling, to multiply the bread again. It is promised to us.
That is why God demonstrated the
creative power through a mighty servant of God today, and brought squirrels
into existence and restored the life of a fish. My brothers and sisters, that
was to demonstrate to us that in a time when we cannot buy the bread and we
cannot buy the butter, God will feed His children like He fed them in the wilderness.
“I will keep thee in the hour of
temptation.” How is He going to keep us?
He is going to feed us. He is going to clothe us. He is going to shelter us.
Did He do that to Israel? Did He rain manna from heaven in the desert? I say,
He could do it again. Yes sir. Did their garments grow with their body? Did
their shoes grow with their body? [Congregation
says, “Amen!”] He could do it again. He promised it. “I will keep thee in
the hour of temptation because thou hast kept the Word of my patience.”
I believe in a God of signs, wonders and
miracles. I believe He could raise the dead and heal the sick and cast out
devils. “Send some more Elijah,” the songwriter said, “to pray the power down.
Send the fire also sent the rain, to heal the sick, and to raise the dead and
glorify His name one more time.” I believe in a God of the supernatural. Yes
sir.
The
Lord’s Prayer
will become very real to us. Right now we pray, “Give us this month our monthly
supplies.” Yes. But our Lord taught us, He said, “Pray this prayer, lead us not
into temptation but deliver us from all evil. And when ye pray say, give us this day our daily bread.”
Right now we are praying for our yearly supply, and we want groceries packed up
in our fridge for the year. But the Lord will bring the church right down to
that place where you will honour the Lord’s Prayer and when you kneel down
you’ll say, “Lord, I do not have anything to eat today, for the children; give
us this day our daily bread.”
Give Him a praise offering. Thank you,
Saviour. Praise the name of the Lord. [Congregation
says, “Amen!”]
He promised to keep us in the hour of
temptation. Do you fear famine? Do you fear the mark of the beast? [Congregation says, “No!”] My brothers
and sisters, another door will be opened. You will have to pray everyday and
say, “Lord, give us this day our daily bread.”
Do you know that the Israelites only
collected manna for one day? Every morning they went and collected the manna.
And because of the Sabbath, the Lord said, “You will collect for tomorrow one
time on Friday evening.” One fellow, he got a little unbelief in his heart and
he went and picked up a good bit, and hid it under his bed and it started
rotting.
God is going to force the church to have
faith. I want this thing to come on right now. I want it to come on right now.
He is going to make you believe for your healing. Yes. Without joining Satan’s
synagogue, you cannot even go to the doctor. He will force you to believe. Yes.
Without the mark of the beast you cannot travel in your motorcar. You will have
to go like Phillip. An angel caught away Phillip and he was found at a certain
place. I believe in a mighty God. Oh yes, children.
We are living in a great hour and that
is coming down upon the church right now, friends. God is allowing this time;
soon these church doors will be closed.
God is causing these messages to come forth. You will be scattered. By the time
you are scattered, and you are in your house and in this place and the next
place, you must know the Word of God. You must be preached into a certain
place. You must know at the squeeze to look for the third-pull.
If you are wishy-washy now, you will be
wishy-washy then. If you have no stamina to put your house in order, you would
not have the stamina there. If you don’t have the stamina to put the church in
place, you would not have the stamina there. If you don’t have stamina to
correct your children now, you cannot stand up over there.
I say, be strong in the Lord and in the
power of His might, right now. Right now, turn from your unbelief. Right now,
brothers and sisters, turn from your ways, lean not unto thine own
understanding but trust in the Lord with all thy heart. O yes, children.
False
Jews cursed to W.C.C.
This thing is coming down, the hour of
temptation. False Jews would not be able to stand. The Bible told us. Right
there the Bible told us that false Jews would not be able to stand. Yes. Maybe
you forgot it. Don’t forget so quickly, friend.
Revelation
3: 9 <Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are
Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship
before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.>
All right! Let us catch our breath a
little bit. What is a false Jew?
Over in the book of Romans, the Bible said, “A Jew is not one that is
circumcised outwardly.” That is the old Jewish customs. But a real Jew is the
man that has the seal of God, the true baptism of the Holy Spirit, the real
goods like on the day of Pentecost. That was a real Jew. Peter was a Jew. John
was a Jew. James was a Jew. And they were circumcised in their heart. They
passed down by Gate Beautiful and said, “Silver and gold have I none; but such
as I have give I thee: in the name of Jesus Christ rise up and walk.” That is
how a Jew behaves. Glory to God! That was a man who was circumcised in his
heart, truly born again and had the fullness of God. He had just received the
outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It is a fearful time we are living in. And the
Lord said, “I will make them of the synagogue of Satan that claim to have the great power of God
and cannot demonstrate, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan who claim to
be born again and deny My Word, deny My message, deny the messenger of the
hour, deny the third angel, deny the call of the Spirit. I will make them of
the synagogue of Satan.” In other words, God will curse them to go and join the
world council of churches, curse them to go back to Rome.
My beloved, we want to be true Jews. And
every man that has the Spirit of God is a true Jew. Only true Jews will stand
up in this hour against the hour of temptation.
And all those who claim that they already
have perfect love is a false Jew. Everything that says they have perfect faith
already is a false Jew. Everything that says that they are already grown up in
the stature and lives like the devil is a false Jew, and they will be cursed.
Everything that says that there is no more power coming to the Bride and there
is no more outpouring of the Holy Ghost is a false Jew.
We have the Spirit of God but we need a greater measure. Yes. We must go
back to Pentecost. I want the blessing of Pentecost. The blessing of Pentecost
wrote the book of Acts. And if the original vine ever put forth a branch, they
shall write another book of Acts behind it.
And we have a lot of false Jews today: behind the pulpit, on
the radio, on the television, living in adultery, living in fornication,
speaking in tongues claiming that is the evidence of the Holy Ghost. All these
false Jews are cursed to go into the world council of churches. That is not my
words; that is the Bible’s. I say that is the Bible’s. “I, God will make them of the synagogue of Satan. I will send them
into the federation of churches. I will send them into the world council of
churches. I will join them with Rome.” Rome is the synagogue of Satan. It is
the great whore.
A man sees the Word of God and refuses
to walk in the light of the Word, God puts a curse upon him. And the curse that
God puts upon a man is that He cursed
them with the mark of the beast because of their unbelief. Unbelief is the
mark of the beast. “They that sin or disbelieve wilfully, it is impossible to
renew them again unto repentance.” And there is no pardon after a man has taken
the mark of the beast. He has blasphemed the Holy Ghost because the Holy Ghost
tried to bring the Word to him, bring the message of the hour to him and he
turned down the message of the hour and he had unbelief in his heart. The mark
of the beast is unbelief. Oh yes. It separates you from the believer. So these
false Jews are cursed.
Now, over in Revelation it says, “I know
those people there that are saying that they are Jews but they are the very
synagogue of Satan. The synagogue of
Satan started way back in the early church. It was Satan’s church. It got a
name at Nicaea Rome, and the people became the church of the devil. Those are
horrible words, isn’t it? I say, Satan had a church.
And back there He said, “I know that
bunch of people that refused to hear the messenger, refused to walk in the way
of the Bible, and are still behind the pulpit and still live like a dog. I know
them. Those people are demon possessed by Satan.” Satan’s synagogue. Over in
Revelation 3: 9-10 it says, “All that claim to be Jews here in the end time now, I will curse them with
something, and the curse that I will put upon them is that I will make them a
member of Rome. I will make them a member of the world council of churches.”
And when people deny that there is
another outpouring coming, when people would not press towards another revival,
press towards another outpouring of the Holy Spirit, it is a curse. You will be
surprised to know who will go and take the mark of the beast. If you don’t have
the stamina to stand up for the abc’s now, friend, would you stand up against
the king of fierce countenance? Will you stand up against America? Will you
stand up against all the churches coming together? Will you stand up against
the mark of the beast? No, my friend.
You better shake yourself up. You better
know that you have that Word down in you, little fellow, little brother, little
sister. You better know that adulterous spirit is out of you, friend, that
fornicative spirit is out of you. You better get out from that organization because all these organizations are
heading back to Rome.
Revelation
18:4 <....Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.>
Receive
the token or perish
O beloved, can I
go on just a little? [Congregation says,
“Yes!”] There we are. “I will keep thee in the hour of temptation, because
I love thee. And I will cause all those people to come and worship at thy feet.
Not worship you; worship at thy feet, and to know that I love thee.” Don’t you
know that is the scripture, friend? Don’t you know there was a wise virgin and
a foolish virgin? And don’t you realise that the foolish virgins thought that
she had enough oil to meet the Bridegroom? And don’t you realise that she
missed the rapture. And she came back later on, knocking the door? What was the
problem? The problem was on the oil. And there are people going down the road
today thinking that they are Jews and they are not.
“You have received enough of the Holy
Spirit to stop you from lying, cussing and stealing.” That is what the man of
God said. “But you need your whole being to be filled, every fibre of your
being to be filled with the Holy Spirit.” The only thing that will resist the
mark of the beast today, the man of God declared that in 1963 and he said,
“Receive the token or you will
perish.” That is the only thing to
withstand the mark of the beast. And if you don’t receive the genuine
article, you cannot stand up in that hour but you will surely perish: body and
soul. You will receive the Token or you will perish. And let me show you how
true that is in an hour like this. There was a scripture over in the book of
Ezekiel prophesying of a great slaughter and the only thing that the death angels
recognized was the mark of God.
Oh beloved, there are two marks in the
world today: the mark of the beast and the mark of God. If you don’t have the
mark of God you cannot withstand the mark of the beast. So there are two marks
today in opposition to one another. And you must be truly marked by the Holy
Ghost. You must be truly marked by the Holy Spirit.
Go set
a mark upon them
And I tell you, God is a terrible God
when He comes in judgement. He is a terrible God. In Ezekiel 9 He summoned to
appear before Him and they came with their slaughtering weapons. And they had
their slaughtering weapons in their hands. And God was about ready to judge
Israel, and there was a man there and He said, “Come here with the writer’s
inkhorn. My wrath and my fury have gone up in my face and I will destroy my
people, Israel. But I want you to do something before they face that great
temptation, come with the writer’s inkhorn. Before they face that great
temptation, come with the writer’s inkhorn. Go set a mark upon all them that
sigh and cry for the abomination that is done in the city. Listen; there is a
fellow there, he hates to see women in mini skirts. He hates to see wickedness.
He hates to see a preacher living in adultery and preaching. He hates to see
preachers begging for money on the radio and on the television. He hates to
hear that a preacher is a millionaire through the people’s money. And there is
something down in him that is angry.” The righteous soul of Lot was vexed from
day to day because of the sins of Sodom.
And brothers and sisters, if you have a
righteous soul, if you are born again, if you have the Holy Spirit inside of you,
your soul got to be vexed, it got to be angry when you see the sins of Sodom
and Gomorrah today. My friends, I am speaking the truth. These are the kinds of
people that are going to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. These are
the kinds of people that are sighing and crying.
And the Lord called this man with the
writer’s inkhorn and said, “Come. Go through the midst of the city; go down to
the church.” My friend, this was a horrible thing. He said, “You watch very
carefully, see the man who is agonizing in prayer. See that man who is striving
to live a Christian life. Go out there and see that little teenager, see that
little fellow who is lifting his hands and don’t wants to fall away to the
world. Go out there and search out. Go and search out people that are not
looking at the nasty shows on television. Go out there and find people who are
not just sporting around. Go out there and search for people who are not living
in sin and whose minds are on the Lord. And when you find such a man, put this
mark upon them from the writer’s inkhorn.” Oh beloved, I love that scripture.
May the Lord send the man with the writer’s inkhorn, with another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It is the only hope to
face this hour of temptation. My brother, my sisters, let me plead with you,
you live for that hour, you live for that time when you will return to
Pentecost and get the fullness of God otherwise you will go through the
tribulation. It is not a time to be backward. It is not a time to live in sin
and the pleasures of this world. No sir!
And this fellow went on there. Nobody
saw him. Oh my God! He was invisible. He was the sealing angel. There is only one mark God puts on His children and
that is the seal and you are sealed unto the day of redemption. He said, “Go
through the church.” He is invisible. First the people started feeling his
presence and they wanted to know what it was, but it was the presence of the
Lord. And they shouted and praised God. Yes sir, glory to God! Do you think
that he had a natural inkhorn? Do you think that he hit anybody? [Congregation says, “No!] My brothers
and sisters, he just went over them and the Holy Ghost overshadowed them. Yes
sir. And something went down into that fellow.
John
14:20 <At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I
in you.>
“Go to them that sigh and cry for the
abomination that is done in the city.” And he went through the church and he
started to give them the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and they started to
speak with tongues and they started to utter things. And that scripture,
Ezekiel 9 was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost and after the day of Pentecost.
Who received it? Who received it, children? We are going to close. The
Christians!
Before A.D. 70 when Israel was
slaughtered by the beast. I said,
the beast. Who slaughtered Israel? The beast: Titus the Roman general, Vespasian
his father, they besieged Israel for three and a half years. They deprived them
of food, deprived them of water. They ate pigeon dung. They roasted their
children and ate them.
Man
with the writer’s inkhorn – sealing angel
You are talking about sin. You are
talking about what this world is going to face. You are talking about the
judgments of God. It is getting ready to belch forth upon this generation.
Everything without that mark, everything without the seal of God; “you will
have the token or perish.”
You sit down here and just want to make-believe
that: “I am going to get it.” And you don’t open your mind and cleanse your
life to understand the Word; woe be unto you! You got to get before God. You
got to surrender. You got to give your life over. Too much of eating, too much
of drinking, too much of wearing and too much eye games. That is what happened
to people.
The Lord is coming to cause you to face
the hour of temptation. He is going to show you how to pray for your daily
bread. He is going to show you how to wear one suit of clothes. He is going to
show you how to live outside in the yard but He will save you in the end. O, I am going to close just now, children.
So then that sealing angel came forth
and a certain presence started moving amongst those people. And those who were
sighing and crying recognized that presence of God. And for years the Lord had
been sealing His people. He went down to Ephesus and found some Baptist brethren.
Brother Paul said, “Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?” They said,
“We never even heard whether there be any Holy Ghost or not.” Paul was a great
preacher. He said, “Let me see what’s the problem. How were you baptized?” That
was the first question. He said, “Do you know what happened? You were baptized
under John’s baptism. Man, that was good enough for John’s day but you must be
rebaptized in Jesus Christ’s name.” He took them and rebaptized them in Jesus
Christ name. He laid his hands upon them and when he laid his hands upon them,
O glory, hear it: the man with the writer’s inkhorn went down inside of them,
the Holy Ghost, and they prophesied. I am telling you about the writer’s
inkhorn.
God spake to Peter just before that, and
he went down to the Gentiles into the house of Cornelius. An angel went down
there but they needed a man. They said, “Send for Peter.” “But angel, why not
preach the gospel to me?” “It was not given to me. How can you hear without a
preacher? Send down to Joppa and get Peter. Bring him up here.” When he came up
there, Peter started talking to them and said, “Do you know what happened? God
sent a man called John the Baptist and after him came Jesus Christ. And
something happened on the day of Pentecost. An outpouring of the Holy Ghost
came.” And he preached Christ to them, and while he yet spake the words, the
man with the writer’s inkhorn descended. While Peter yet spake the words, while
Peter was preaching, the man with the writer’s inkhorn, an angel of God who had
the seal of God went about in the congregation and sealed all those Gentiles.
He sealed all those fellows and they were not even baptized in Christian
baptism yet. He turned around to the Jews, “Can anybody be so hardhearted that
they can forbid water that all these people be baptized in Jesus Christ name?
Are you hardhearted? God has opened up the doors to the Gentiles.” And as He
opened up the doors to the gentiles, one of these days He will close the doors to the gentiles. And
the gentiles will be weeping and wailing to face the tribulation period.
But God in His mercy today, He sent
forth the presence of the Lord. I believe with all my heart, the man with the
writer’s inkhorn is now upon the face of the earth. I believe with all my heart
that there is somebody sighing and
crying for the abomination that is done in the city. I believe that
somebody doesn’t like this place. I believe that somebody doesn’t like this
system. I believe that there is somebody who doesn’t like what is going on in
the churches. I believe there is somebody that hates Rome and hates the world
council of churches.
Men with the slaughtering weapons
A certain amount of people were sealed by
the thousands. Yes. And then what happened? The man with the inkhorn returned
and said, “It is done as Thou hast commanded!” And then the Lord looked out and
said, “You with the slaughtering weapons, go through the midst of Israel today
and begin at my sanctuary, begin at the church.” “Judgment begins at the house
of God.” “Begin at my sanctuary. And when you go there, don’t let your eyes
pity, don’t pity maidens, don’t pity old
men, don’t pity children.” Do you think that you have an excuse? “Don’t
pity anybody. Slay utterly young and old, rich and poor, free and bond. Kill
everybody in the church first, because “Judgment begins at the house of God,
where shall the sinner and ungodly appear.”
If I was a sinner, I would repent
tonight. Oh yes. If I was still drinking rum, cussing and smoking, I would
repent tonight and be baptized in Jesus Christ’s name. The only thing to
withstand this great slaughter that is coming is the Token.
And here the hour of temptation came,
the hour of judgment upon Israel came;
and the Christians, like we are looking tonight, as we are looking at the
prophecies, as we are looking at the words of the Lord, as we are looking step
by step to know when this judgement is coming upon the face of the earth, the
Christians in that time were looking and He gave them a sign. He said, “And
when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, these be the days of vengeance,
that all things must be fulfilled. I want to tell you something. Let not your
flight be in winter, neither on the Sabbath day, because on the Sabbath day it’s
closed. Don’t go up to the mountains because it has snow upon the mountains;
for these be the days of vengeance. Woe
unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!” I tell
you, God is a God of judgment. He is a God that means what He says.
And the Christians were reading their
Bibles and as that time came nearer, they heard of the war talks in Rome. They
listened to the news through the caravans. They were listening to the warriors
in Jerusalem and they listened to all the talks of taking over Jerusalem from
the hands of the Roman Empire. And from the time they started hearing that,
different ministers started talking. They said, “The time is near, these be the
days of vengeance. Now, remember the words of our Lord.” And the preacher got
up on the pulpit and said, “Brethren, here are the words of our Lord, Matthew
24, Luke 21. This is the sign that we are going to look for. And when ye shall
see Jerusalem compassed with armies, these shall be the days of vengeance.” And
they heard the galloping of the Roman army; they heard the galloping of the beast.
How many heard the galloping of the
beast? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] I
am hearing the galloping of the beast. I am hearing the armies of Rome coming.
I am hearing the world council of churches coming, Christians.
And they heard the armies coming, and
they saw the dust raised up in the desert. Can you see it? Are you in the
Spirit? Are you seeing it? [Congregation
says, “Amen!”] The armies are coming, and they heard the horses running and
they heard the trumpets blowing. The war trumpets were blowing and the
Christians gathered together. Oh my brothers and sisters, and before the war
started, O glory to God, God made a way
of escape out of that great temptation. And the Holy Spirit led a brother
to the wall, and he went and found a hole in the wall and he said, “All Christians
follow me. God made a way of escape.” All Christians went through the hole and
they fled to hide, and they closed back the hole. Yes sir. And the Christians
that had the mark escaped.
Now, if the seal of God is not a visible mark, therefore the mark of the
beast is not a visible mark. Is that right? [Congregation
says, “Amen!”] It is in the soul. The mark of God is in the soul. He seals
the soul. He puts the outpouring in there. He puts the fullness in there. The
mark of the beast is, the devil filling you with his spirit, fills you with
unbelief.
And the Christians, they went away
singing, “Onward Christian soldiers marching as to war.” And they hid in the
mountains and they heard the screams.
They heard the screams of the babies. They heard the screams of the women. They
heard the screams of the soldiers overpowered. They heard the screams of the
make-believers who said they were Christians, and just got baptized and were
calling Jesus name but they believed something differently.
I say, repent, children. You better fall
into desperation. You better beg God if you are in a Laodicean condition that
the Lord changes your soul, otherwise you are not going to receive the mark of God. And if you don’t receive
the mark of God, you are going to take the mark
of the beast. In that hour you will sell out for food. You will sell out
for raiment. You will sell out for your wife. You will sell out for your
children. You will sell out for money. They will take your money from the
banks. They will take your homes. And in that hour, if you do not have
something to keep you, you will say, “I will just sign up in order to get bread
but I am a believer.” You are lost.
He will
keep us
The world is heading right now to that
great hour of temptation. And we can hear the galloping of the beast and his
armies coming down the road, children. Don’t you see it? Don’t you hear it? But
we have a promise in this hour:
Revelation
3: 10 <Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them
that dwell upon the earth.>
Do you believe? That is His promise. How
many believe He will feed you? How many believe He will clothe you? How many
believe He will heal you? [Congregation
says, “Amen!”] He is Jehovah Jireh. He is able, my brothers and sisters.
Come out of your organization that is
heading back to Rome, that is heading back to the world council of churches. If
He fed the Israelites, He is able to feed us. If Jesus broke two loaves, and fed
thousands of people and picked up twelve baskets of crumbs, He is more than
able to feed us even with the crumbs. All that we are asking for, Lord, “feed
us with the crumbs.”
“I am eating manna from the golden pot,
from the seventh pot.” Brother Chandler, raise the song there. Glory to God!
